Faq
1. Why can I only order cakes within 14 days?

We aim to provide our customers with the highest quality cakes and services, and to ensure the ingredients are fresh. Therefore, we limit the order time to within 14 days.

2. Can I order customized cake?

In addition to the cake designs available online, we offer other styles and sizes to choose from. Customized cakes require a minimum order of 5 lbs ($288 per lb). To place an order, please contact the staff at your nearest Maxim's Cake Shop branch or email pr@maxims.com.hk for inquiries. 

3. Delivery service

For order with total amount of $800 or above, a free one-time single location delivery can be arranged. The free delivery service will be forfeited if customer choose to pick-up in shop. For order with total amount of $500 or above, a one-time single location delivery can be arranged with an additional charge of $80. Delivery time is based on assigned time slot and cannot be arranged at a specific time.

Delivery service is not applicable to the following locations: Squatter area, walled villages, small house, temporary housing area, piers, parks, sports arenas, outlying islands, construction sites; Sai Kung, Stanley, Repulse Bay, Deep Water Bay, Tai Tam Road, Shek O, The Peak, Lei Yue Mun, Jumbo Floating Restaurant, impermanent or incomplete addresses; remote areas in New Territories, including but not limited to Fairview Park, Hong Lok Yuen, Palm Springs and Royal Palms. (Special delivery service can be arranged for cakes of 10 lbs or above.)

4. Typhoon and Rainstorm warning signal arrangements

Upon the hoisting of Typhoon Signal No.8 or below, Red and Black Rainstorm Signal, most of the business will be as usual. However, some stores will be closed due to environmental factors and the affected store will contact the customer for alternative arrangements. 

Self pick-up and delivery services will be suspended when Typhoon Signal No.9 or above is hoisted. Customers can reschedule the self pick-up date after normal business operation by calling to store or ordering hotline within 24 hours. If customers do not change the pick-up date in accordance with the foregoing, the order will be forfeited, and all amount paid will not be refunded.
